Want some tips on creating the perfect resume?
Resume's can be a daunting task which can leave you unsure of what you want your potential employer's to notice about your resume. Here are some tips to help point you in the right direction and show employers that you are the perfect candidate. Did you know employers prefer a simple font and layout when looking through resumes? Try sticking to fonts like Ariel, or Times New Roman and keep the font size at about 12 pt. Using a bold font to highlight your name and past employers are a good way of catching the eye of the employer. Keeping the layout simple is easier for employers to read that way they can focus on the important things like work experience. Getting rid of unimportant text like summary, and your objective are a good idea. This type of text is unnecessary and often gets skipped over . Employers are looking for your past experiences, job history, and accomplishments, not your objective. Be sure to list your job experience in chronological order. List your most recent job first and go down the list from there.
